James Blake - A Case of You (Joni Mitchell cover)

James Blake nailed his set at Thekla the other day. It may not have been as crisp or tight as he would want, but it was great to hear some new tracks in progress and his voice was much purer than I remembered… maybe he’s using fewer effects now? The new material sounded more lyrical than before and strong with it… much to look forward to.

This Joni Mitchell cover made a great single track encore… I can’t imagine many in the sold out venue walked away dissatisfied.
